Advertising

Unlike regional glossy magazines and newspapers, Winchester Magazine focuses entirely on the city, reaching out to an AB1 audience.

You won’t find any generic fillers and we support advertisers by writing about them within our pages.

Advertise with us and we’ll take the time to visit your business, talk with you and find out what makes you tick, then write engaging copy that really encourages city locals to share our enthusiasm for what you do.

By offering our advertisers well-written editorial, we’d like to think we’re giving them better value for money than simply offering them advertising space.

If your business is not at the stage where you have a designer creating you adverts, we’ll also design your advert for you, making sure your business is well presented and that you get your key messages across.

We’ll also send you a PDF of your editorial so you can use it in any of your own marketing.

And we’re always happy to run offers and news for all of our advertisers at no extra cost on our Facebook site: www.facebook.com/winchestermag.

The print run

Winchester Magazine has the biggest city centre print run of any Winchester magazine with 8,500 copies each issue.

We don’t talk about circulation as we think that’s misleading.

We print 8,500 copies and the team personally delivers them to our distribution points across the city.

Social media support

We also have a massive following of local people on Facebook too, with over 12,000 followers – the biggest following of any city magazine and newspaper and more than any other independently-owned print media in Hampshire. On Instagram we have a further 2,200 followers.

We update our page daily and are always happy to post for advertisers.

Our three seasonal issues

  • Spring published in March
  • Summer published in July
  • Winter published in November

And we’re rather proud of our distribution too,

Not only do we deliver over 5,000 copies door to door across the city but you’ll also find the magazine at:

  • Marks & Spencer, Winchester
  • Tesco Superstore, Winnall
  • Sainsburys’ Superstore, Badger Farm
  • Winchester Tourist Information Centre
  • Cobbs Farm Shop, Kings Worthy
  • West Lea Farm Shop, Itchen Valley
  • Open House Deli
  • And in all of our advertisers’ businesses

Advertising rates

  • Full Page - £550
  • Half Page - £275
  • Back Cover - £650
  • Inside back or front cover - £600

And we don’t charge VAT on top of these prices.
